The Fr. Dr. Władysław Łęga Museum in Grudziądz considers its mission to be the protection of local heritage through the collection and preservation of artifacts related to the history, culture, art, and traditions of the residents of Grudziądz and the Chełmno Land.

It preserves the memory of the city and region’s past, commemorates the histories of many cultures and times. It is a place where tradition intertwines with modernity, creating a modern institution. It shapes the 1 awareness of identity with one’s “small homeland,” instilling patriotic and historical values in the youngest generations. It strives to create favorable conditions for participation in culture and access to education for audiences regardless of age, beliefs, education, degree of disability, or origin.
