One of the most interesting and modern theater buildings in Poland. The “Baj Pomorski” Theatre stages performances for children (from their first year of life), teenagers, and adults. The productions are based on both classical and contemporary plays. The artists working at “Baj…” focus on combining traditional puppet techniques with modern solutions (including multimedia). For many years, the theater has organized two festivals: the International Puppet Theatre Festival “Encounters” and the Toruń Meetings of One-Actor Theatres. Educational, social, and accessibility initiatives are an important element of its activities. The open-air Shakespearean Stage operates at the Theatre.
